Hello, I’m still recovering from foot surgery, I’ll be unable to walk until at least March 5th, I’ll have a follow up doctor appointment and find out then when I can return to work. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Does anyone have room for this baby I just picked up on 13th and Sheridan, I cannot bring into my shop, he is just a baby, I know one of y’all needs this baby. Looking for owners or rescue

Update Adopted!!!

Meet Vinz, a female pibble, 44lbs, approximately 10-12 months old. Found June 24th following a man into Reasors on 21st and Yale. No microchip or collar, posted on FB and Nextdoor, no owners were found. She’s good with cats and seems to be fine with dogs, she’s very playful and sweet. Learning about the leash and car rides, she’s crate trained. I’ll be making an appointment for spay and vaccines soon. She’s having to spend a lot of time in a kennel because I don’t have time to focus on her. Looking for an indoor only home. Comment here if you are interested or would like to meet her. I’ve tried multiple rescues but all are full at this time. Please consider adopting her.

Urgent and Important Action Alert to Protect Animals! HB1792 seeks to ‘reclassify’ all felony criminal offenses. It’s a big bill (110 pages) and buried within those pages are proposed reclassifications for our general animal cruelty statute, dogfighting and cockfighting statutes, and our crimes against nature (be******ty) statute. The fines proposed under HB1792 for all of these important animal protection laws have been dramatically lowered! For example, our general animal cruelty statute currently has a maximum fine of $5,000 and under this proposed reclassification bill, the maximum fine would be lowered to $2,000. The cockfighting law currently carries a maximum fine of $25,000 which would be lowered to $2,000 and the dogfighting maximum fine would be lowered from $25,000 to $500! The maximum fine for a crime of be******ty would be lowered to $2,000. This is outrageous assault on our important animal protection laws! Crimes of animal cruelty must carry strong and effective penalties and it is incumbent upon us as animal protection advocates to speak out against this bill on behalf of the vulnerable and voiceless. We also know that there is a well-documented link between crimes of animal cruelty and crimes of human violence which is why strong animal protection laws help to also protect people. HB1792 is a dangerous threat to our ability to have meaningful penalties for those who perpetrate crimes of animal cruelty. HB1792 is a purposeful weakening of important and longstanding animal protection laws in Oklahoma and must be stopped! Concerning the canine flu, I do not work on any sick dogs, if your pup isn’t well on the day of your appointment then it will be rescheduled for the safety of everyone. The resident dog is vaccinated against the flu virus, no other dogs are loose inside the grooming studio. My cage banks are stainless steel and only have gates on the front so each dog is essentially isolated from any other dog, and at no time are they in a “community” situation. Each crate is cleaned with an accelerated hydrogen peroxide disinfectant between each client. Every load of laundry is washed with hypoallergenic detergent and bleach as well. I do not require the flu vaccine at this time. With common sense and some good cleaning practices, we can keep this virus at bay.
