💙 MR. BEANS: 59 LBS OF PUPPY LOVE! 🐾

At just 9 months old, Mr. Beans has a whole bunch of puppy charm! 🐶

This handsome Kansas, MO guy is:
❤️ Good with men and women
🧒 Has been around kids 9+
🐶 Good with other dogs (though some older pups may find his energy a bit much!)

❤️ 98% potty trained and has small tell alls he's learning to show
❤️ Knows sit & shake and is working on off

He loves treats, car rides with his lips flapping in the wind, and snuggling in bed with his humans for 9–10 hours. Crate sleeping? He can do it too, after a brief attempt to negotiate his way out! 😂

❤️ Success Story: Mack Truck! 🐾

One of the most rewarding parts of rescue is seeing our former fosters thrive in their forever homes! Every time we receive photos and videos from past adopters, our hearts fill with happiness knowing these dogs have been given a second chance at life. Seeing Mac Truck living his best life reminds us exactly why we do what we do. Every dog deserves a happy ending, and we’re so grateful to the families who make that possible! 🏡❤️🐶

“His favorite things are walks, treats, sunbathing and naps! He is always down for snuggles and has no clue how big he is. To him, and me, he will always be a tiny little baby! 🧸❤️ BEAR BEAR IS 110 LBS OF LOVE, GOOFINESS & SPLISH SPLASH! ❤️🧸

🎂 My biggest birthday wish? To turn FOUR in my forever home!

Hi, friends! Bear Bear here! I’m an almost 4-year-old, 110-pound boy with a BIG personality and an even BIGGER heart! ❤️

🎾 FETCH IS MY GAME! My big body comes with some arthritis, so I need someone to help me pace myself. I’m working hard on bringing the ball back and patiently waiting like the good boy I’m becoming!

💦 DID SOMEBODY SAY WATER?! LET’S GOOOOOO! 🌊

🐱 Small animals and cats? Oh, they definitely get my attention, so let’s skip those roommates!

👨‍👩‍👧 Kids? I’m a big, goofy guy, and little humans can intimidate me. I’d do best in an adult-only home where I can feel comfortable and confident.

🩺 Vet, I've met them. However, when I get my nails done I always seem to take a nap and wakeup looking fabulous. Spa day, anyone? 😂

🎓 I LOVE learning and training! I’m looking for an experienced adopter who will keep teaching me, guide me kindly, and help me become the best boy I can be.

❤️ UPDATE!!! DUNCAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED ❣️ HIS HEART TOOSHY SAYS YOU HATE TO WATCH HIM GO, BUT LOVE TO WATCH HIM LEAD🐾

At 6 years old, Duncan has already endured abandonment and months of surviving without shelter. Yet this sweet, loyal boy still wants nothing more than to be by your side. ❤️

Duncan is housebroken, neutered, vaccinated, easy on a leash, and low-energy. He knows sit, shake, and down, and his favorite way to say “I love you” is with a gentle lick of your hand.

🥖 He may need a little extra reassurance as he learns to trust again. Due to past food insecurity during abandonment, Duncan needs thoughtful management around food and a home prepared to help him feel safe.

🐾Since being in the shelter, Duncan has been hyper focused on other dogs. This could be because of environment (since he lived with another dog in the past). His original owner stated he was dog selective. Therefore, if another dog was in the home, it would be safest with an experienced owner who knows how to let Duncan decompress and introductions be done in time. However, there's no denying he'd do amazing as an only dog that would FILL the home with love!

🧒 Kids you ask? Duncan needs them to be older and wiser.

💔 He’s been let down before. Now he deserves a home that keeps its promises.

💚BUTTERBEAN NEEDS A FOSTER! 💚

How can anyone resist that face?! 🥹🖤

Butterbean is a handsome 2-year-old, 90-pound Rottweiler looking for a foster home where he can get the love, attention, and guidance he deserves. He is currently in Illinois, however,transport is available for fosters within MARR’s coverage area(details in post).

Butterbean is a friendly, playful young guy who is willing to learn and would love someone who can continue helping him learn and grow. He has done well with adults and children and is house-trained and crate-trained. He currently lives with cats and really wants to play with them, even if they aren’t nearly as interested in playing with him. 😂🐱

Butterbean hasn’t had the opportunity to experience a lot in his young life, and we would love to see him in a foster home where he can be part of the family. He would especially benefit from someone with Rottweiler experience who can give him consistency, structure, training, and plenty of attention.

📱 SOCIAL MEDIA
Create and share content about dogs, fundraisers, success stories, educational content, and MARR updates. If you enjoy creating posts, writing captions, or engaging online, we’d love your help!

📋 INTAKE
Support the first steps of bringing dogs into rescue by gathering information, communicating with owners and shelters, and helping determine next steps.

📣 COMMUNICATIONS
Help keep volunteers, fosters, adopters, and the community informed. Organization, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential.

🏡 FOSTER HOME COORDINATOR IN TRAINING
Support foster families and their dogs while training alongside an experienced coordinator and preparing to take on a larger role.

💙 Every role matters. From sharing a post to answering a message or opening your home, every volunteer helps save lives. You don’t have to foster to make a difference!

Meet Sebastian! 😍
This handsome 5-year-old, 110 lb Rottweiler is a big, lovable teddy bear looking for his next adventure!

Sadly, his elderly owner’s declining health means she can no longer care for him. Now Sebastian needs someone to open their heart and home.

🎾 Rush is patiently waiting for someone to come throw his ball… and maybe take him home forever❤️

Seriously, look at that smile! 😍 How has this handsome boy not found his forever family yet?!

Meet Rush, a 2-year-old Rottweiler with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a serious love for tennis balls!

Rush hasn’t had the easiest start in life. He’s bounced between several homes through no fault of his own, but despite everything, he’s remained an incredibly loving, playful, and affectionate boy. He’s more than ready to find a family that will love him for good.

🐾 Here’s what makes Rush so special:

🎾 Professional playtime enthusiast! Rush loves toys, tug-of-war, wrestling, and playing with his doggy friends.

🐶 Dogs are his favorite! Rush is a social butterfly who loves dogs of all sizes! He previously lived with a Yorkie, and one of his best buddies at the shelter was even a Pomeranian! He’s also done great at doggy daycare and boarding. His ideal home would have another friendly dog (or two!) to keep him company.

🐱 Cats? Rush recently met an indoor cat while on a leash and showed no signs of prey drive! He was curious, barked a couple of times as though he wanted to play, and settled down after a few minutes. With patient, gradual introductions, he may be able to live happily with a feline friend!

🤟 He’s deaf, but don’t tell him that slows him down! Rush is incredibly smart and already knows hand signals for sit, stay, come, down, heel, and waiting at doors. He’s proof that communication comes in many forms!

🏡 He’s got his house manners down! Rush is house-trained, sleeps quietly in his crate overnight, rides nicely in the car, and does great with grooming and vet visits.

❤️ He’s a total sweetheart! Rush has previously lived with young children and did well with them! He loves being around people, takes treats gently, and enjoys getting attention from everyone he meets. He wants nothing more than to be part of a family.

🐶He’s a confident little explorer! Despite being deaf, Rush does well encountering people, children, cars, bicycles, and even large trucks while out on walks.

Rush does have an ongoing issue with his front left leg that can cause discomfort, so he’s not looking to become anyone’s marathon-training partner. He’s perfectly happy enjoying playtime, shorter outings, and quality time with his favorite humans. His leg issue is still being evaluated.

Rush’s dream home? 🏡

A loving, patient family with a consistent routine, preferably another friendly dog, and someone willing to continue communicating with him through hand signals. An experienced adopter who understands his needs would be ideal.

After everything Rush has been through, he deserves a family that won’t give up on him. He’s ready to stop moving from home to home and finally settle into the life he deserves.

💝 SHE’S ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR OUR FOSTERS. NOW IT’S OUR TURN TO BE THERE FOR HER. ❤️‍🩹
Some people don’t just foster dogs!
For years, our foster has shown up for this organization and the dogs who need us most. She has opened her home, given her time, and never let a foster dog down.
But now, an unfortunate incident involving a foster dog has left her beloved dog with significant medical bills. 💔
We know veterinary bills can be overwhelming, especially when they come unexpectedly. No one who gives so selflessly to others should have to face a burden like this alone.
🐾 Today, we’re asking our rescue community and fellow dog lovers to rally around the woman who has given so much of herself to help others.
