Meet Harley ❤️

Harley is a 10-year-old girl looking for a loving home after her owner had to move into a nursing home. Despite her age, Harley is still a very active girl who enjoys being outside, going for walks, and keeping watch over her home and family.

Harley is described as a laid-back sweetheart who loves food, treats, and relaxing outside on the property she currently lives on. She enjoys occasional playtime but is happiest just being included and spending time with her people. Harley can take a little time to warm up to new people and seems to do best with women, but once she trusts you, she is a loving and loyal companion.

She is house trained, crate trained, gets along with kids and other dogs, and would love a family that understands senior dogs still have so much love left to give. Harley does have hypothyroidism, which is managed with a daily pill and routine bloodwork every few months.

Harley deserves a family willing to give her comfort, patience, and love through her golden years. ❤️

Meet Piper — a sweet, calm 5-year-old Rottweiler looking for a foster home. She’s loyal, laid-back, and happiest relaxing beside her people.

✨ About Piper:
• House trained
• Good with other dogs
• Good with kids comfortable around large dogs
• Calm and well-mannered
• Loves affection
• Knows basic commands
• No bite history
Piper is currently living with other dogs and does well, though she may guard toys at times.

🐱 She is not good with cats and reacts to squirrels/rabbits on walks.

She’s also on a weight loss journey and needs a foster willing to help keep her active and healthy. Piper prefers cuddles and quiet time over high-energy play.

Huge shoutout to 2 U Grooming for donating her time and services to help Ally Cat get her nails trimmed! We are so thankful not only for her generosity, but also for the patience and kindness she shows our foster dogs as many of them are still learning to feel safe and comfortable. She does such quality work and always takes such great care of the dogs she works with!

We always appreciate local businesses that are willing to partner with us and help pamper these Rotties who deserve the absolute best. Acts of kindness like this make such a huge difference for our rescue pups. Thank you for taking such great care of Ally Cat! 🩷

Summer is almost here and Bear Bear is READY to lounge in the pool and live his best life☀️

At just 3 years old, Bear Bear is a 110lb oversized puppy trapped in a handsome Rottweiler body. He’s goofy, smart, food motivated, obsessed with water, and always down for a game of fetch or carrying around his favorite toy like it’s his full-time job. Bear Bear LOVES his people and really just wants to hang out nearby soaking up attention and snacks.

This big guy has been working hard with a trainer and has made huge progress learning how to be the best boy. He thrives with structure, routine, and someone who understands that even though he looks like a grown-up dog, he’s still mentally a silly teenager sometimes making questionable life choices 😅

Bear Bear is a BIG, strong dog and needs someone confident who can properly handle him and continue working with him. He would do best with someone experienced with large breeds who understands the importance of consistency, structure, and ongoing training. He enjoys training, walks well on leash, is kennel trained, and can entertain himself while you relax nearby.

One of Bear Bear’s favorite things in the world is WATER. Give this boy a hose, kiddie pool, creek, or anything he can splash around in and he’s instantly happy. He loves relaxing in his own little pool during the summer and playing with the hose like it’s the greatest invention ever created😂

He’s looking for a forever home that will appreciate his giant personality, goofy antics, and loyal heart. Once Bear Bear trusts you, he’s all in- and honestly, it’s impossible not to fall in love with him 🖤

Axel needs a Foster!
He is currently in Independence, MO, transport is available for fosters within MARR’s coverage area(details at end of post).
Axel lives with a toy Aussie currently, but it is highly suggested to have slow intros due to Axel’s lack of socialization. The other dog must be accepting to Axel’s puppy energy. Gets Along with Cats: Unknown Housetrained: Does well but will have an occasional accident Crate trained: Yes. Axel is very people oriented, he gets along with Women and Men. He lives with 5 young children, two being toddlers. One of his favorite past time activities is running and playing with the kids outside. Axel is Playful, Happy, Full of Energy, Cuddly, and Loves Affection. There is no personal space with this boy as he loves to cuddle. 😊 Needs Experienced Owner. Axel is a very sweet boy who loves affection and cuddles. When it’s time to eat, he will sit and wait until he is released before he starts. His recall is great! Axel is happy to see anyone that comes to visit because that means he gets more cuddles. Axel still has a lot of puppy in him as he loves to chew on everything along with wanting to run and play. Axel will excel with an active owner who is willing to help him use up his puppy energy in a positive way and stimulate his puppy brain. Many Rotties excel in nose work, carting, agility and obedience, just to name a few. He will also make an excellent hiking partner.

MARR is a non-profit organization, which means all our team members are volunteers and 100% of donations go to the care and medical treatment of the dogs. 🥹

Nipsey: Brought into MARR with Pneumonia from a severe respiratory illness and given a second chance at life due to extensive medical treatment($1,500 +)
Fin: Suffers from Masticatory Muscle Myositis and is currently being treated for Heartworm($2,000 +)
Bear: Has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia and will benefit from continued water therapy ($1,000)
Eloise: Tested Heartworm positive and will require extensive medical treatment ($2,000).

❤️ Meet Axel ❤️

📅 DOB: 01/27/2025
⚖️ ~90 lbs (and still growing!)

Axel is a 1 year old male that weights roughly 90 pounds! Axel is a big, goofy, affectionate boy who loves cuddles and being around his people. He’s playful, happy, and full of puppy energy! He is always ready to run, play, and snack (food is definitely his love language).

He’s crate trained, knows basic ques, and has great recall. Axel is still working through typical puppy habits, so he’ll benefit from continued training and structure.

He gets along great with kids and currently lives with five young children, two being toddlers. His favorite activity is to run and play with the kids outside!

He currently lives with another dog and does great. He can live with other dogs but will need slow, structured introductions. Cats are unknown.

Axel is still very much a puppy and will thrive with an active owner who can help him burn energy and continue learning.
