GONE 1/11/24 🥺
RIP sweet soul...You mattered...
Failed and abandoned at every turn by her original family, the ACC adoption team, and her inexperienced adoptive family (only there a month!) a wonderful, big hearted girl still holds out hope she can live a long and happy life.
She’s just a puppy, and she has been through so much in her short time on earth. Cookie had a family, but then she was found back in November abandoned in a building. She was then brought to the ACC where she was adopted, but now returned after only one month because her family were completely inexperienced. Cookie needed stability after her ordeals, and she needed to decompress. She needed an experienced family who could give her both and also her training that she never got – calming commands like “down” and “place” so that in instances where she was getting too excited by high distractions, she could remain “in place” and channel her energy in a positive way. You see, this girl is friendly and outgoing with adults, strangers, visitors, kids, other dogs and even CATS!!!! She just needed time, she needed lots of exercise, and she needed training! Now she is going to die for the failure of both the ACC to place her in a home where she’d succeed and thrive, and the family who were ignorant of how to be a “leader” to this girl who wanted so desperately to learn and grow. Please don’t let her die. If you are an experienced dog family who can give her a wonderful life, hurry and MESSAGE OUR PAGE for assistance.
What my friends at ACC say about me:
My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children. I am playful and cute! I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy.
