🚧🚧Please excuse our mess! 🚧🚧 Please park as far North in our parking lot as possible.

Unfortunately, at 12:23 AM this morning, a presumed chemically impaired driver lost control of his vehicle while flying at reckless speeds—far beyond the legal limit. In doing so, he managed to violently crash into our business sign which was constructed predominantly with heavy rock and mortar. This collision set forth a rapid-fire chain of destructive events that began when his car was sent spinning across our parking lot (still at breakneck speed), while also throwing heavy rocks, spalled asphalt, glass shards of windshield, as well as large chunks of the vehicle itself in every direction. As he simultaneously skidded and spun over 360° across our lot, his car hopped over 2 curbs and the grassy median that divides our parking from Cajun Ed’s next door. Sadly, Ed’s building suffered the worst damage as it was in the car’s direct path, ultimately brunting the final impact and abruptly stopping its momentum. The driver jumped out of his driver’s side window to escape on foot moments before police and emergency vehicles arrived.

Dr Johnson and her husband worked diligently until 4 AM to remove as much debris as possible in the dark, but we do ask that any visiting Hammond clients please try to park as far north in our parking lot as possible to avoid any remaining debris from the accident.

First and foremost, we are thankful that nobody was injured! While we are not looking forward to the headache ahead of navigating a more thorough cleanup, and arranging the construction of a replacement sign, we are likewise grateful that we can still remain open to serve our clients and patients. Our hearts go out to Cajun Ed’s staff, as the damage their building has incurred was so severe they will have to temporarily close for immediate repairs. Not only do they have a hole through the side of their building, but have also lost power to their industrial freezers and refrigerators which will exponentially add to their costs in the form of spoiled food and loss of income! Please keep your eyes peeled for Cajun Ed’s (hopefully speedy) reopening so we can be sure to show this Tulsa gem our love and support by flooding them once again with orders of their delicious food!
