Recently, Iโ€™ve welcomed more clients whose pups have had tough experiences with previous groomers. Whatever the reason for those disputes, I always take note of each dogโ€™s behavior while in my care. Often, I can sense why a dog may have been turned awayโ€”and itโ€™s never because theyโ€™re โ€œbad.โ€

The truth is, dogs arenโ€™t inherently difficult or reactive just to make things hard. Grooming requires training, teamwork, and trustโ€”on both the owner's and the groomer's part.
