• Provide a warm, dry shelter that’s off the ground and insulated from wind
• Add extra bedding like straw or blankets (and keep it dry!)
• Ensure they have access to fresh, unfrozen water
• Increase food portions—pets burn more calories staying warm
• Bring seniors, small breeds, and short-haired pets indoors whenever possible
• Watch for signs of hypothermia: shivering, lethargy, or trouble walking

🐾 Meet Dr. Alicia Gray!

If you’ve ever met Dr. Gray, you already know she brings a perfect mix of compassion, knowledge, and a little bit of sarcasm to our clinic — and we adore her for it!

👩‍⚕️ Her Veterinary Journey

Dr. Gray has spent 25 years in the world of veterinary medicine — from pre-vet, to vet school, to many years as a dedicated veterinarian.
Her favorite part of the job? Helping the pets…but also helping the people who love them.
She especially enjoys client education, making sure every family feels confident and informed.
And while she can’t pick just one proud moment, she says “anytime I make a client smile” is a win.

Dr. Gray doesn’t just take care of animals at work — she has a whole farm’s worth at home!
She shares her life with:
• 4 dogs: Riley, Layla, Hunter, and Lilly
