Our very own Dr. Jake Gomez just had research published in the journal One Health about a real-life cat flu outbreak (yep, bird flu jumping into house cats ๐ฆโก๏ธ๐ฑ).
The study shows that while H5N1 can be scary, early vet care + the right treatment = survival is possible. Even better? Cats that recovered built up strong antibodies like tiny furry superheroes. ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ๐พ
