Paws & Claws Animal Rescue and Rescued Treasures Thrift Store We are an animal rescue providing quality food, safe shelter, medical care, socialization and love to the homeless, unwanted, abused and neglected animals.

Our ultimate hope is for animals in our care to be placed into humane and loving environments. PAWS & CLAWS ANIMAL RESCUE is an all-volunteer animal rescue program serving Quay County, New Mexico since 2009. We provide quality food, safe shelter, medical care, socialization, and love to the homeless, unwanted, abused, and neglected animals in the county. For more information, please visit our webp

ADOPT:
Come meet our rescues Monday-Friday, 10 am-noon, or by special appointment, which can be made by calling (505) 235-4338 or emailing [email protected]. We review all adoption applications to include background checks, pictures of home and fenced yard, and references. Our adoption fees are $150.00, which includes spay/neuter, all shots up to date of adoption, and lifetime registration for Microchip. We do not send our animals on transport. Ariel 🐶 is still looking for a forever home 🏡

Female Pitbull terrier mix, 2 years old, spayed and microchipped, adoption fee is $75.

Ariel loves to run and play with toys, she also graduated from our prison dog training program and knows all her basic commands and some tricks she was taught there. She walks nice on a leash and gets along well with other dogs if introduced slowly.

Litter of 4 kittens were found under a shed

Litter of 5 kittens, all under 1 pound! All are treated for eye infection and one had a swollen eye that needed to be seen by the vet.

Champ has been adopted 🥳! Champ had a last play season with his sister Bear before he hit the road to Albuquerque to meet his former handler at the prison program and now his new daddy 🫠. They took the train to California to start their new life together 💚🐶💚.
