The Pet VIP Therapy and Visitation Program screens, trains, evaluates, and qualifies an owner and their well-behaved pet to provide Animal Assisted Activities and Animal Assisted therapy to Southern Arizona Communities. Through this program we share unconditional love with those who need it most. Our teams bring their trained and registered pets to people of all ages in more than 90 facilities, ar

e part of several specialty programs, and attend dozens of events each year. Pet visitation is a wonderful, therapeutic way to promote and maintain wellness for people of all ages. By harnessing the innate human-animal bond, pet visitation, brings the joy, comfort, and unconditional love to persons in need and can empower and motivate them to improve their physical and psychological health and well-being. We also provide HSSA Comfort Dogs to those affected by a crisis or traumatic event. By using canine assisted support we provide compassion and encouragement and bring comfort to individuals or families suffering pain or loss by promoting the human-animal bond.
