With so many people prepping for upcoming camping/lake trips, we wanted to send a friendly (and important) remember to always check the algae levels before letting your pups go swimming! 🧡 Take no chances, algae is extremely toxic to dogs and can even be fatal!

People have been asking if we still do mid-day visits and walks in the summer and the answer is HECK YEAH we do! No matter what the temperatures are outside, our pups will still need bathroom breaks, stimulation, and exercise. Keeping your babies healthy, safe and happy are our top priorities, so during those hot days, our visits may look like:
☀️Shorter Walks
☀️Earlier or later walks and/or walks with booties
☀️Shaded yard time play
☀️Quick bathroom breaks and play/cuddles inside
☀️ Indoor brain games/scent work/snuffle mats/commands
☀️Fetch and tug in cooler areas

Does anyone else have a dog who uses the pool more than the humans throughout the summer!? 🙋‍♀️😂
It you have a pool or visit properties with pools with your pup, always ensure your dog knows how to exit the water safely! You also never want to assume that a dog is naturally a strong and confident swimmer 🚫

I am convinced that the Pura Vida Pack has the cutest butts and legs in town.. the proof is in the pics! 😍😆 WELCOME Rocky and Ella! 🧡 You melted us from the beginning. Their momma was way overdue for a vacation but was so worried about leaving these cuties behind. Can you blame her- look at those little faces 🥹 We are so thrilled that she was so happy with our care that she already booked her second trip! 🎉 Win, win- mom gets to finally travel and we get to love on these two!! 👏
