For all the Addictyon fans out there I am sorry to tell you that he had to be euthanized today . His stomach perforated and we were unable to save him. At least he went fast and relatively painlessly. He waited until his kid could say goodbye. He wasn't really liking being retired so he relieved me of worrying about what to do with him. He won 3 National championships in Hunter pleasure and 2 reserves and 6 top tens. For the last 6 years he's been in my lesson program. He also learned to love being a western horse and do horsemanship .And a little trail. He was always the consummate gentleman, even at the schooling shows when the little kids would run up behind him. I will miss him terribly but not as bad as his kid.

There was one more buckle
won. Everyone had good rides and learned lots. 2 horses were new to me - one was at his first show in the bridle. All in all it was a great show for MCTC. And I so appreciate all the help from my customers- even the ones who didn't have horses there.

Hard to believe Kisses has been gone 2 years. She was my go to horse for everything. Excellent lesson horse- and first time show horse. Did lots of demonstrations- and proved to many people that Arabians were trustworthy and sane kids horses. She stayed sound and went to her last horse show when she was 26, I miss her everyday- especially when I have a new rider starting. I could always trust her to be good.

I did a thing this last week. I bought what I hope is the replacement for Kisses. His name is Marco BPA . He arrived this afternoon from Bridget Fitzpatrick in Reno. Ian Macdonald of Carousel Trails delivered him on time and in great shape. I know that Yukon will be happy for a little break- he's been working pretty hard this summer so far. I will get some pictures tommorow.

Very proud of my entire team yesterday at the SAAH ABC show. Lots of learning, successful rides and fun. We still have lots of ranch classes today for some of the horses.

So excited- signed 2 contracts to judge today. I am doing the Pima County 4-h show- the English division. Then I'm going to Salt Lake to do an AHA one in May. Yipee!!!

Had fun at the SAAHA highpoint awards meeting on Sunday. Kaylee and Kensley both Won reserve year end championshipsfor their age groups. Kaylee won the trail highpoint. AsGood As Gold (Yukon) won highpoint Arabian Horse for the second year in a row.Not sure what he's going to put in his garment bag- he may need to get some new clothes.
