Well…it’s my golden year. 12 years of business on December 12th. It’s been quite a year with many curve balls, but I am so grateful for all my wonderful clients and fur babies. And I could not have done it without my supportive and amazing husband/handyman.

Darwin and I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!!
Don’t forget…adopt don’t shop! Or even better foster a fur baby and save a life! Cheers to a new year

Today marks 10 years I’ve been in business with Pampered Paws. I want to say thank you to my Mom and Rusty for their help, support and advice. My Dad for making the drive to get the trailer, fixing repairs and for helping/teaching me the biggest part…backing up a trailer!! Anyone need help backing up a trailer I’m a pro. For my husband for keeping me on the road and operating. As the years pass and wear and tear on the trailer there is non stop problems…thank God for my Handy Andy!
Lastly, I would not be where I’m at without my amazing 2 legged and 4 legged clients. Thank you for your loyal support and business over the years. I truly appreciate it. As a token of my appreciation I have donated $500 to a local rescue group Hope of Deliverance, Inc. # to help pay it forward.



Here’s to the next 10 years.

Jett and Josie were recently saved by one of our amazing animal protection officers. They were found in the extreme heat with no water and shelter. We’re so grateful they’re safe with us at PACC so we can give them the love and care they deserve.

From a member of the public: "And a giant "hat's off" to Officer Marzelle Gamez who responded to the address and coaxed these poor doggies into letting her rescue them. She's an enormous talent with your organization." (We agree!)

Jett is an active, sweet boy who was easily handled by officers when rescued. Volunteers say he is friendly, easy to leash and walk, appears to be housebroken, and (understandably) is always very hungry. He does well sharing a kennel with Josie and enjoys her company. In play group, Jett is more of a people kind of guy and is not comfortable being around other dogs. (We totally get that – we don’t always like everyone we meet!) He’ll require a meet and greet with any other dogs (besides Josie) before going home.

Josie is a tender, slightly shy girl who also easily allowed our officers to handle her and help her. Volunteers say she is social, calm, easy to leash and walk, appears to be housebroken, and welcomes affection. In playgroup, she’s a little nervous but allows other dogs to greet her. She mostly keeps to herself or stays near her human friends. She shares her kennel well with Jett and seems to gain confidence from him.

After all they’ve been through together, it would be heartwarming if these two friends could stay together. We don’t know if they are bonded BUT if you’re thinking of saving two exceptional friends who already get along, please keep them in mind. Adopting two pals may actually mean less work than adopting a single pet — they keep each other entertained; they give each other stability and comfort; they adjust more quickly to new situations; and they provide twice the amount of love.
