I wanted to drop a note to say Hello👋 and introduce myself, along with some of the new faces you may see at the clinic. The clinic name will change slightly to Oracle 77 Pet Clinic.

I am Dr. Elsa Swenson. I have been a veterinarian in Tucson since graduating with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2007, after completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota. I have worked in emergency clinics and larger general practice hospitals in Tucson, but as corporations scoop up pet clinics, they often lose their personal touch. I am a strong advocate for independently owned clinics and the different level of care they can provide.

I was looking into practice ownership when I was fortunate enough to connect with Dr. Nuradin, who was preparing to sell his clinic so he could retire and spend more time caring for his aging parents. I truly enjoyed getting to know him during the ownership change. He is a remarkable person and a very caring veterinarian. I hope to carry on his tradition of compassionate care while also increasing services and appointment availability.

I’ll be joined by another very experienced part-time veterinarian to help us be more available for your pets. I also feel privileged to work with some of the most capable and caring technicians and assistants at the clinic.

When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our houseful of pets. I love hiking and also play in a recreational soccer league.

We are excited and look forward to getting to know you and your pets. Please feel free to stop by the clinic and say hello!🤗

🐾Our new logo is dedicated to my beloved boy, Levi, who crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year. He was by my side through so many milestones in life, and it only felt right to honor him through this new chapter.

We would like to share a heartfelt update:

Dr. Nuradin Retired October 31st. We wish him the very best as he begins this new chapter, his dedication, compassion and years of exceptional care have left a lasting legacy and we’re deeply grateful for all he has done.

As we move forward, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Swenson as our new Veterinarian and Owner. We will remain privately owned. We remain committed to providing the same level of thoughtful, high-quality care our clients have come to expect, and we’re honored to continue the legacy Dr. Nuradin has built.

Our clinic will be closed from 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟳 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰. We kindly ask all clients to 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 for appointments and to pick up any food, medications, or other necessary items 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 the closure. We will back in the clinic on July 7th.

We have been blessed to have Ela with us as she worked her way through the U of A and now she is off to vet school! We cannot be more proud of her and we know she is going to be an AMAZING vet.
