Strong Heart Equine Ranch & Rescue's purpose is a dedication to the rescue of abused, neglected, and abandoned equine; and to help rehabilitate those that can be adopted out to loving homes and to provide permanent home for those who are disabled. In support of these of these efforts, SHER seeks to increase beneficial human and equine relationships through human/animal interaction. One horse at a

time-We are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Equine rescue and care is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support. Veterans & First Responder Equine Program-We aim to build a supportive and engaging community for veterans & 1st responders. Starting with a groundwork-focused equine assisted learning program. During the equine program veterans & 1st responders will work with mustangs, burros or domesticated horses.

🌿💔 Meet Willow 💔🌿

Willow has just arrived at our rescue. She’s a gentle soul who recently went through a heartbreaking loss — her pasture companion passed away, and since then she hasn’t quite been the same. Horses, like people, grieve deeply, and Willow is still finding her way through that.

Here, she’ll have the chance to heal, make new friends, and remember that she is safe and loved. ❤️

Pigs don’t always get the credit they deserve — but they’re smart, social, and full of personality.

On the ranch, pigs play a role that goes beyond just being livestock. They’re natural foragers, turning soil as they root, helping clear brush, and even managing food waste by turning scraps into energy.

Like any animal, they thrive when their needs are met: balanced feed, clean water, space to move, and attention to their health. In return, they give back in ways that often surprise people — from their intelligence to their loyalty.

Every animal on the ranch has a purpose, and pigs remind us daily how important it is to care for the land and the lives that share it with us. 🌱🐖❤️
