🥹🥹🥹 These two are such incredible travelers. They never fuss, don’t get car sick, don’t climb all over the vehicle or lick the windows etc…

They just lie down on their beds and either take a nap or chew on a Yak Chew, or Drax will suckle on his Woobie 🤗 Potty breaks are △⃒⃘ℓωαуѕ quick and stress free, and they don’t get upset if their meals are a little off schedule 🥰

Drax did AMAZING on his public access outting today 🤗😍🤗 It was his first time on a public bus and he kept receiving compliments about how well behaved and quiet he was the entire time 🥰

Seeing the incredible progress Drax has made in just the last 5 weeks since coming up to Portland, gives me SO much hope that he can overcome his male dog reactivity with proper training! 🥹

I’m looking forward to transitioning him to a regular comfort harness and hands free leash system (will allow me to use a mobility device and still have a free hand for marking/treats) to continue his training with 🤗

Food is still one of our 2 highest expenses each month, and we are incredibly grateful for any and all support in keeping these pups healthy and happy 🥰🥰🥰

We are so incredibly happy to report that after 22 months at the rescue our sweet Miss Emmee has found her FUREVER family!!!!

Pictured below with her new Dad Tim, Emmee is enjoying being the biggest dog in the home and loves to run the yard with her 4 new fur siblings, and of course she adores snuggling with her new Mama Chris 🥰🤗🥰🤗

While this has been bittersweet for us personally, these happy endings are why we do what we do, and we couldn’t do it without incredible people like Tim & Chris who are willing to give these pups loving furever homes.

Emmee & Drax were cuddling all cute 🥹 But it was, of course, short lived…

Drax started snoring so Emmee quite literally shut his mouth, and while I’m wheezing from laughter Drax must’ve remembered he has a further reach than she does and pulled an Uno Reverse on her 🤣😂🤣😂

I can’t with these two, they’re like an old married couple 🤣😂

Now that Drax isn’t around other reactive dogs he’s able to spend all his free time just hangin out and playin with the girls and getting to witness their bond grow so immensely over this last week has been amazing 🥹🥰🤗

To think this goofball nearly lost his life because he was classified as needing to be the only animal in a home just breaks my heart. But it’s u fortunately the very real reality for DOZENS of dogs every single day in Arizona, let alone the rest of the US.

If you’re looking to add a furry new member to your pack, PLEASE give special consideration to fostering a dogs who’ve been there the longest, dogs with special needs, and senior dogs. They’re the most at risk for euthanasia and they need our help to get out alive and know what it means to feel loved and safe and to be comforted in their final days.

Drax has a heart of gold and a few favorite things in life – carrots, watching the sunrise and sunset, and playing with his beloved balls. He's completely crate trained and potty trained, making him an absolute joy to have around the house.

This amazing boy has so much love to give and potential to be a wonderful companion for the right family. He would thrive in a semi-active to active home with low foot traffic, where he can enjoy plenty of quality time with his humans.
