For those who are new here, I’d love to take a moment to reintroduce myself!
I’m Allie Webb, the proud owner and operator of Just One Carrot, and I’m beyond excited to connect with you all! I’m 27 years old, and I’ve turned my love for animals into a career by specializing in dog and horse care. Animals have always been my passion, and there’s nothing that fills my heart more than caring for them. Currently, I’m furthering my dream by pursuing the Equine Business Management program at Ohio University, where I’m learning to turn my passion into a lifelong career.
Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From taking riding lessons and volunteering with horses to caring for and fostering many dogs, my experience with both has shaped who I am today. I rescued my first dog when I was just 6 years old, and we shared 15 beautiful years together. She wasn’t just my pet; she was my best friend and the true inspiration behind the name "Just One Carrot."
To further my commitment to providing the highest standard of care, I’ve earned my Certified Professional Pet Sitter designation through Pet Sitters International. It’s a huge accomplishment that I’m incredibly proud of, as it allows me to offer the best possible care for your pets, whether it’s your dog, horse, or even your guinea pig!
Throughout my years of experience, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals. From cows, goats, chickens, and hedgehogs to fish, miniature animals, cats, lizards, and more, I’ve loved every opportunity to work with such diverse creatures. There’s no animal too big or small that I won’t treat with the same love, care, and attention.
I know how stressful it can be when you have to leave town—your pets are family, after all—and the thought of them being without you can be overwhelming. That’s where I come in! I’m here to alleviate that stress, offering peace of mind by ensuring your pets are treated with love, care, and respect in your absence. With over 6 years of experience in pet sitting and volunteering, I’ve encountered some unique situations, from a head-shy horse needing wound care on his face to a donkey choking, and even a horse getting stuck under a fence. No matter the challenge, I’ve always handled it with calmness, focus, and, above all, love. Nothing will stand in my way when it comes to providing exceptional care for your furry, hooved, or scaled family members.
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of knowing I’ve made a difference in my clients' lives. When they come home to happy, healthy pets, a well-kept house, and flourishing plants, it’s the most rewarding feeling. The thank-you’s, the smiles, and the long-term friendships I’ve built with clients make me truly feel like I’m living my dream every single day.
