We apologize for not being as active; we’ve been working on big things behind the scenes!

We have been looking and saving up for a property with land since we started fostering in 2022. After 2 years, we have finally found the right property to start our own rescue. With this much-needed space, we have big plans to save many more dogs, but we need your help.

We are trying to raise $75,000 to build comfortable spaces for the dogs on our property. These areas will be spacious, with each dog having their own yard and air-conditioned spaces to ensure they are safe and happy.

After discovering a post about a man evicting his dogs, Sumner the Belgian Malinois and Layla the Akita, due to his own crisis, our hearts sank. Despite our foster system being at its limit, the thought of these two dogs being left to fend for themselves, potentially facing the dangers of the street, was something we couldn’t stand by and watch happen. So, we intervened.

We’ve brought Sumner and Layla into our care, providing them with a safe haven from their uncertain fate. Sumner, a spirited Belgian Malinois, is showing all the signs of a loyal companion and is set to begin professional training to prepare her for a future loving home. Layla, the dignified Akita, has found a temporary refuge with a family member, where she can rest and recover while we search for her forever home.

Now, we’re reaching out to our community for help. We are actively seeking fosters or adopters who are ready to offer Sumner and Layla the stable, loving homes they deserve. If you’ve ever considered opening your home to a pet in need, this could be your moment to make a significant difference. Join us in our effort to ensure Sumner and Layla’s stories turn from ones of abandonment to ones of hope and love. 🌵
