We start colts of any breed and for any future discipline, we work with them at their pace using natural horsemanship.

We also work with many horses that have developed problems and become unmanageable, through training using various natural horsemanship methods, the horse realizes it’s okay to trust and one day will have a bright future. We have many well trained horses for sale or lease that are currently in the program and moving forward. We always match the horse with the rider, whether you are a beginner ride

r or a professional rider. For anyone with a horse, the best thing that you can remember is that horses are different, they have different personalities, some are easy to train and others are more difficult to train. So with any horse, it’s always on their time. So be patient, loving and kind. God bless!

She came to Calvin as a feral mare and has grown into a beautiful project pony! Scout has come such a long way and is beginning the search for her next person to come alongside her in her training.

☀️Hello everyone!☀️
I just wanted to give an update! Over the past year the horse page has been pretty quiet, but the horse training has not stopped by any means. 🐴 As some of you may know, Calvin and Christine have been going through some major life changes. Calvin was diagnosed with ALS. Despite this, they are both still hard at work with the horses and praising God every day!
My name is Brooke. I started out as a volunteer at Calvin's farm when I was about 11 years old, and now I am a working student. I will start posting videos and photos of the horses and training clips from Calvin. Please keep the Halfords in your prayers as we hope for a great summer with lots of happy horses. We appreciate all your support.
❤️ Thank you. ❤️

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!🕊✨

Sterling is the baby of our herd, he is coming six years old. Sterling was rescued from a kill pen, when he first arrived at our farm he would shake with fear when we would come close. He has come such a long way, loves human interaction and has a very curious and playful nature. We are looking for that special home for him. He would excel in Dressage or Fox Hunting. Sterling stands at 17 hands and is a striking looking boy with a good mind. We are asking in the mid 5’s . Please only serious inquiries. Please contact Calvin @ (828)290-2205.
