The mother and daughter team of donkeys we fostered are doing better. The farrier has been out four times. Lucy, the mother is sound but the daughter still has a little Hitch in her giddy up. She might take a little longer. Still hopeful she'll come out of this whole thing sound.

An older gentleman found himself unable to take care of these two girls. I agree to take them in as fosters. Their health is good but their feet need to be done very badly. They're both just a little bit lame. So they'll stay penned until I can get the farrier out here in a day or two. On a side note, they found a protector in my big red mule Josie ,she refused to leave their side all day.
