Let's continue with instructor introductions!
Returning to Circle Bar Ranch Music Camp is Elizabeth Van Hersh .
Elizabeth began playing the violin at four years old. She is originally from Pampa, Texas, where she was classically trained for ten years. After her classical instructor retired, her mother stumbled upon the Bobby Boatright Western Swing Music camp, now the Circle Bar Ranch Music camp, and she has attended or taught the camp ever since! She instructs various ages and experience levels through the camp. Although Elizabeth is not a full-time musician, she thoroughly enjoys teaching and playing in her spare time. She currently resides with her husband, Rick, and son, John William, in Plainview, TX where they both work in the agriculture industry.
A fun fact about her is that her mom, Dana Terry used to cook for this music camp!
Elizabeth helps coordinate the camp and will be teaching beginner fiddle this year! 🎻
