It’s Feed a Rescue a Pet Week and we cannot let the week go by without recognizing the the tireless efforts of rescue organizations and shelters—and the wonderful pet lovers who choose to adopt and give a pet a second chance at life.

If you are looking to donate to a cause that supports the wellbeing of local animals, our friends at Trumann Animal Control / The Trumann Pound are in need of food donations and cleaning supplies, specifically bleach and dish soap.

If you’re not in a place to adopt, or donate food you can still support the these wonderful causes by:

UPDATE: She was pulled by a rescue and is no longer in the pound!!!!!

UPDATE: RESCUED!!!!!

Does anyone recognize this pretty gal? She wondered up to Winfield Factory behind the old community house Friday. She had a leash attached when she was found and has her name on her collar.
