We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to our veterinary team—Dr. Wang, a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian, is now seeing patients right here in Troy, OH!

Dr. Wang's journey began in China, where she came to the U.S. at just 14 years old to pursue her dream of helping animals. After earning her DVM from The Ohio State University, she’s been proudly caring for pets in the Dayton area, and now she’s bringing her skill, empathy, and passion to Green Valley Veterinary Care.

With three cats, a dog, and six reptiles of her own, Dr. Wang knows firsthand how much love—and care—our animal companions need. Whether your pet has fur or scales, she’s here to provide top-notch medical care grounded in compassion and respect.

Adding Dr. Wang to our team means more availability, more support, and more access to veterinary care for the Troy community and surrounding areas—because we believe every pet deserves timely, quality care when it matters most.

Dr. Mathews is a 2008 graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Virginia before moving to Troy Ohio in 2016. She practiced throughout Troy and also at MEDVET for three years.

Green Valley Veterinary Care opened in May of 2019 to provide pet owners the best and most modern veterinarian services. We love to practice with compassion and will treat you and your pet like family.
