I’m overdue in updating this page. Twin Lakes Center for Horsemanship has relocated to Troy at Turning Point Farm. Life’s journey has taken me in a different direction to new beginnings and placed amazing people in my path at just the right time.

I am still offering lessons as well as pursuing my path as an equine bodyworker. The horses are all here except Cody. Cody is still assisting Becky Moseley Jones with her equine therapy program. He is incredibly bonded with her gelding so we thought they should stay together.
Indy, Lucy, Itsy, and Bubble are settled in their new home.

Thank you to everyone who has made this a smooth transition and for so many answered prayers. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Itsy is a chronic cribber and carries a lot of tension in her poll. I wish I had the video going earlier but I started because after being fairly deep in a state of processing she came to with a whinny and a deep neck arching stretch. All I’ve done so far is release some of the tension in her poll. Pretty amazing release for such a small amount of work.

I was lucky to catch the first clinic offered by Patrick King Horsemanship and The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork. It was a collaborative clinic marrying the in hand work from Patrick and the bodywork from Jim. I hope they continue to offer this clinic as it’s so valuable for anyone willing to tune in.

I am starting the process to get my Masterson Method certification to compliment the Craniosacral and acupressure classes I took this year. As a student of Patrick’s, the in hand work along with the bodywork flows right into the riding with a focus on building confidence in the horse and moving the body to the horses benefit through relaxation.

Horse care lessons are a part of my lesson program. We take advantage of the bad weather days to brush up on horse care skills because riding horses and caring for horses are two different things.

Savannah is practicing wrapping a leg on this cold rainy day…….and Indy?? Well, let’s just say he’s participating in the nutrition lesson by demanding samples 😋
