If you would like to read an article about how Feldenkrais can help your riding and many other interesting topics, then make sure you pick up a copy of the new USIHC Quarterly Magazine 😊 thank you to Karen, Lauren, and Kirsten for your help

Issue Two 2026 of The Icelandic Horse Quarterly is published and contains:

A Beginners’ Guide to WorldFengur, shines a spotlight on Flying C Ranch, discusses bone spavin screening and the biomechanics of good posture in horses, tells how Feldenkrais can help you become a better rider, and shares an epic summer in Iceland, as well as relaying news from the USIHC Affiliated Clubs, the Board of Directors, and our parent organization, FEIF. Go to www.icelandics.org to join the USIHC and subscribe.

We are moving. Three words that are heavy with sadness, a hard setting in of reality that this is really happening, gratitude for our time here and all the wonderful people and horses we got to meet, and excitement about what lays ahead of us. After almost 11 years for me and much longer for Ben, our time in the Pacific Northwest is coming to an end and we are moving east. When the time is right we will share more about where we are going and what will be next for us. For now, we want to say THANK YOU to our wonderful customers and friends who helped us make Vinur Farm into the peaceful and fun place it has become and THANK YOU to this precious piece of earth that was a wonderful home for us and our animals, that taught us so much and let us build our dream here. I feel a love for this place, so deep, that I am not sure how I will be able to walk away, but I am grateful for the time we got to spend here and I know that as long as we are together, we will be fine wherever we are. Life is what we make it. And just like in horse training, as long as we are flexible, humble, and willing to learn and grow, we will do good. Here is the link to the listing in the comments, if you would like to take a look and share it with your friends. This place deserves the best of people to carry on what we started ❤️
