As obligate carnivores, cats didn't need to develop a taste for carbohydrates. When they taste something sugary sweet, it doesn't come across as sweet in the way we would detect it with our taste buds.

Started at 2am, 4 different airplanes ✈️ , 3 different cities 🏙️ , 3 different time zones, no sleep, spent 24 hours driving 🚗 , or on 🛬 an airplane, and we finally got our perfect addition. I couldn’t be happier with him. He was a hit with the travelers, flight attendants, and pilots. Everyone kept asking what kind of cat he was….they had never seen one like him before. Of course, I had to give them the rundown: I’m a CFA/TICA Siamese and Balinese breeder, and this handsome boy is a rare cinnamon point Balinese.

He talks constantly and wants endless snuggles. (It was so hard to take his picture because he just wanted to chat 💬 the whole time.) Not only does he have a striking appearance, but he also has the most wonderful temperament. I adore him. 🥰 Thank you so much Louis. ❤️
