We’re thrilled to share a paws-itively exciting update that marks the next chapter in our journey of caring for your beloved pets!

✨ New Location, Spacious Accommodations!

We’re joining forces with our amazing Thrive Pet Healthcare friends at Saint Francis Pet Care Centers in Tarpon Springs! You can find us at 3591 Keystone Road, which is just a short seven miles away. Our current facility needs some updates, but the Tarpon Springs hospital is fantastic—it’s twice the size and equipped with modern features to provide a better experience for you and your beloved pets.

🐾 Meet the Team:

Drs. Adriana Odachowski (Medical Director), Meredith Nugent, Aileen Simpson, and our dedicated team are excited to care for your pets in this upgraded space. We greatly appreciate the expertise and compassion that the Tarpon Springs team brings, and we are confident this merger will benefit all the pets we care for.

With a more robust team at Tarpon Springs, you will have more options when booking an appointment for your pet—Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Good news if you’re a Thrive Plus member, you can use your membership at our Tarpon Springs hospital!

We have some VERY exciting news...🤩

Help us officially welcome Dr. Meredith Nugent! Meredith joined the Saint Francis family September 2023.

Dr. Meredith Nugent grew up on Long Island, New York, and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fredonia State University of New York. She then earned her Doctorate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) in St. Kitts and Nevis in 2022, after completing her clinical rotations through Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Along with her interest in acupuncture, Dr. Meredith holds a lot of interest in soft tissue surgery, including but not limited to cystotomy, gastrointestinal foreign body removal, gastropexy, and mass removal. She would also like to get more advanced imaging training including ultrasonography and echocardiology. She also won't shy away from other small furry friends such as guinea pigs and rabbits, nor will she shy away from our friends with scales or feathers. Dr. Meredith comes with immense determination and love for what she does. She continues her education through the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association and numerous conferences throughout the year.
Dr. Meredith has lived in Tampa since March 2023, along with her two Tortoise Shell cats Buffy and Malta. In her spare time, Dr. Meredith tries to hit up the CrossFit gym, cook and bake delicious meals, and will hopefully be trekking the Appalachian trail later this year in 2024!
