Meet Zeus, a 2-year-old stunning boy who is looking for a foster home where he can land safely while he waits for his next chapter. 💙

Zeus is a large breed sweetheart who has previously lived with another female dog and multiple older children, so he does have experience being part of a family. He is neutered, crate trained, and very lovable—the kind of dog who enjoys being around his people and soaking up attention.

Because of his size and strength, Zeus will need a foster with large-breed experience who can provide structure, guidance, and confidence.

Foster Requirements:

• Experience with large breed dogs

• Children 12+ only

• Ability to provide a safe, stable environment while he waits for placement

Spartacus is a survivor.

The photos are difficult to look at. The reality was even harder.

When dispatchers at ACCT Philly responded to a call about a dog in need of help, they discovered a heartbreaking scene. The caller reported that Spartacus' sister had already passed away days earlier.

Spartacus was still alive, but just barely.

As soon as shelter staff saw him, they knew he needed urgent medical intervention and reached out to us immediately.

Spartacus was completely emaciated, scoring a 5/5 on the TACC body condition scale - the lowest score a living animal can receive. Every bone in his body was visible. He was covered in painful wounds and ulcers, missing patches of fur, caked in dirt, and marked by scars.

And yet, Spartacus never gave up.

While his body was weak, his spirit wasn't. Despite everything he had endured, he greeted people with kindness. He leaned into pets and looked at us with hope.

Our veterinary team immediately got to work, treating his wounds, starting critical medications, and carefully implementing a slow, monitored refeeding plan to help his body recover safely.

Over the last several weeks, we've watched him transform. Today, he is healthier and finally getting the chance to experience the life every dog deserves.

His wounds have healed. He's gaining weight. His tail wags a little easier. And his sweet personality shines brighter every day.

Meet our adorable german shepherd/alaskan malamute mix puppies who weigh about 10 pounds each and are 9 weeks old. These puppies were surrendered to our care due to their owner working out of state and no one to care for the puppies. These fluff balls are already so big, fluffy and will be wonderful dogs. They are working on potty training, are super social and love attention from people. They are food motivated, have tested well with other dogs and rode great in the car.
