Due to the passing of our founder & sole sponsor this last December (2024) the spay/neuter clinics will not be continued. At this time we have not found anyone to step up and fill her shoes, so sorry but finger's cross we will be able to continue in the near future.

The Humane Society of Gilchrist County, Inc. has a LOW- COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC on November 3 in Archer. CATS are $25, and DOGS are determined by weight. Sign-up starts now and will end when full. The clinic fills up fast, so please call NOW 352 463-7364 to register. Please leave your name & phone number if someone does not answer. You will be called back by a volunteer within 24 hours. WATCH FOR JANUARY DATES PLEASE CALL CINDY- 352-463-7364 (this is one of our volunteers & a working farm- so please leave a message she will call you back) LIMITED SPACE Cats are $20 - Dogs under 40 lbs. are $40 and Dogs over 40 lbs. are $80. Proof of rabies is required, or a $12 rabies shot is required by state law. Everyone is welcome to register, not just Gilchrist County, this is a private non-profit, volunteer not county-run organization. Please leave a message if there is no answer, this is a working farm that supports this clinic, and Cindy will call you back as soon as she can.. 🐾🐕🐾🐈🐾🐕‍🦺🐾🐈‍⬛🐾 Fosters are also needed for cats and dogs.
