It’s truley a shame when people take advantage of the ADA disability act, just so they “Think” they can bring their pet dog ( claiming it’s a service dog) into establishments where normally Dogs are not aloud. A service dog is with his/her handler to do a specific task. They are not allowed to pick things off the floor and eat. A Service dog should not be seen or heard unless their handler is in trouble. I’ve heard from so many business owners about people letting their dog eat off the peoples plates, I’ve witnessed people letting their dogs visit people while they are trying to eat. Yet , when the owners of the establishment ask for them to remove their dog( which they have every right) they get Negative feed back on the web. Personally as a trainer of service dogs, I don’t and won’t take my “IN”training dogs into anywhere dogs are not permitted until I think they are ready. Just know the owner has Legal Rights just as much as the handler and service dog. So Please the next time you try and pass off your ESA pet and they call you on the carpet for it, Don’t get mad at them, for you, doing something illegal!
