Yesterday was a truly wonderful day. One of our clients brought in a cat she had been feeding on her porch for two weeks. She was concerned that the cat didn't look well and decided to help him. Of course she did, she's a great person and kitty mom. Well, we scanned the wayward stray for a microchip just in case and he has one! It was also registered! Within 15 minutes, we were in touch with an extremely grateful woman who had been missing her beloved Mr. Kitty for YEARS! She was able to come right over and be reunited with her best pal right here in the office. It was a beautiful reunion with so many purrs and head butts and hugs. We were all so lucky to have been a part of this moment, this is why we love our community and also why we scan every pet for microchips... You just never know. 😍
