A BIG THANK YOU to Eagle Scout Candidate, Bhumi Sehgal, who collected supplies for Animal Rescue of Tracy as Bhumi’s Eagle Scout Project. We were so excited to see Bhumi and members of her family arrive during Sunday’s Adoption Fair with donations from our WISH LIST, including much needed cat food, potty pads, beds, paper towels and handmade “dangly” cat toys.
Here are Bhumi and her Mother with members of Animal Rescue of Tracy’s Steering Committee (left to right) Sharon, Bob, Crystal and Julie (note the smiles)! With almost 150 cats in our Rescue, we are very grateful Bhumi chose ART as the recipient of her donation drive and that she did such an EXTRAORDINARY job reaching out to the Community to donate.
Animal Rescue of Tracy has been an ALL VOLUNTEER, 501c3 non-profit animal rescue since 2003 and has found homes for over 7000 cats and dogs. We can only continue our mission of finding FOREVER homes for adoptable cats and dogs with the continued support of donors, as we get no government funding. A donation drive like this — or any donation large or small — has a HUGE impact on us.
To all who supported Bhumi we’d like to say, “Thank You For Lending A Paw”.
