With an extreme heavy heart I had to walk up my favorite “orange bomber“ up to the rainbow bridge. When I had to close operations end of December due to my health besides feeling sorry for my riders and the horses, this mare was on my mind more then anyone else. Not only was she the oldest resident in her upper 30‘s, but I made her a promise years ago that I would be there with her when she took her last breath. That I was still in Massachusetts was able to fulfill my promise ment more to me then most ever will know. Now the “orange bomber“ is able to see all her friends, trailer buddies and minions she so ruled over in her multi-decade Alfa mare reign. Rest in peace and show them what a real dressage horse looks like- I for one will miss you until my last breath.

We are happy to congratulate Kathryn for her purchase of Samson and Sporthorses LLC for giving Ducati a wonderful home. Looking forward hearing all about the successes in the show ring.

A great time is coming to an end - after more then 30 years Verden Stables is closing its doors for good. My health has declined dramatically and we can no longer provide. We therefore ask everyone who still has equipment etc at the barn to pick your property up. Everything will go- jumps feeders buckets blankets boots.
