☀️🐾 It’s National Heat Awareness Day! 🐾☀️

Before heading out on summer adventures with your pup, don’t forget to check the pavement first! 🥵🔥

A good rule to remember:
✋🐾 The 7-second rule — place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws!

Hot pavement can burn sensitive paw pads much faster than most people realize, especially during these sunny Missouri days ☀️💔
