Hexxuss Reptile Rescue & Retirement Inc EIN: 84-3049000 We have been doing reptile rescue work for several years & decided to make it official with the State of Florida & become a 501c3.

501c3 Non-Profit Reptile Rescue that provides rescue & rehoming for reptiles (and a safe retirement home for retired breeders) in the Tampa Bay & surrounding areas. The reptiles we’ve worked the most with are Bearded Dragons, Iguanas (Iguana, Cyclura & Ctenosaura genuses), and Tegus, but we accept all reptiles & have people who are experienced rehabbers for practically any species. We have added r

etirees to this since that is a much overlooked area with reptiles - breeder reptiles that can’t/won’t produce more babies that the owners don’t want to see go to someone who might attempt future breeding & kill them in the process. We accept other rehomes as well outside of breeders. Our herp vet is Dr Zellner @ the Animal & Avian Hospital in Largo, FL.

After analyzing costs, we have made the tough decision to begin shutting down our rescue. The rising costs have made it unmanageable.
We will be rehoming a lot of animals once the permit is renewed with the FWC. We are very picky in who our animals go to and expect them to be pets. Most have already had a rough time in life, they don't need more hardship from breeding.
Update: This will take a while. At November's ReptiCon we found new, loving homes for 10 animals.
