Just a reminder, how a few can ruin a good thing. We'd be looking forward to the "skips" on Lake Vermilion now. It stretched out the sled season and was a lot of fun. It definitely added to the local economy as well. Remember, trails and so much of the sport of snowmobiling is a privilege that can be taken away. Be respectful and good stewards. Thanks!

FYI: Both the clubs and the state are grooming, get out and ride!!

NOAA released it's latest winter prediction on September 19th. In a nutshell, it agrees with most all others. Above average snowfall and average to below average temperatures for northern MN and even higher snow predictions from a line Duluth to I'falls and east.

Well, a little good news. On my way home last night, I saw a repairman working on our phone lines. While he hadn't found the problem yet, at least (after 3 months) something was happening. Fingers crossed.
