After formulating and reformulating the recipe, we have finally perfected our "𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀" Cleansing Brush Bombs! 🧼 Made with a gentle surfactant, clarifying witch hazel, and antibacterial tea tree oil, these bombs are safe for all brush types!

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁!

We’ve spent the last few months perfecting the formulation for our new “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸, 𝗡𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗲” Mosquito and Tick Repelling Spray! Made with clarifying witch hazel, nourishing coconut oil, and a blend of lovely aromatic bug repelling essential oils, this spray is 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 for cats, dogs, and horses.

Our home base on the North Shore of Massachusetts is inundated with ticks and during the summer, a single walk can result in a half dozen or more ticks jumping up on our pets! The beautiful trails through the state forests and marshes also serve as a home for pesky mosquitoes. These pests are 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙, so here at CMG we work with our veterinarian to give prescription preventatives to all of our fur babies.

As an added layer of protection, our bug spray will act as a 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 to reduce the number of ticks and mosquitoes that jump on and bite our family members. Not only does this 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 for your animals, it also reduces exposure for owners!

Last week we told you about our first initiative as part of our Eco-Pledge. This week, we are thrilled to share the second! 🌳

In an effort to offset our carbon emissions, CMG Pet Supply has partnered with One Tree Planted to help re-build forests around the world! For every sale, we have committed to planting one tree in an ecosystem that needs our help.

The forest provides jobs, key ingredients to medications, vital habitats, filters water, and cleans the air! We cycle through ongoing campaigns and contribute to rebuilding forests worldwide because we believe in sharing the love.

Here at CMG Pet Supply, our greatest passion is and always will be caring for animals and providing quality products for owners and their furr-babies. That being said, we are also committed to creating a more sustainable future! 🌳

Our first step towards this has been to switch over to compostable shipping packaging! We have teamed up with noissue in order to use compostable poly-mailers and shipping labels. These mailers break down in 90-180 days, versus standard plastics 1000 years!

There is a caveat: compostable products need to be disposed of correctly. If you don't currently compost at home, we suggest checking out https://findacomposter.com to find nearby facilities that will take your compostable items. (Don't worry, we also do some research for you with every shipped package 😉)
