🤔Did you know that if you have a pacemaker, you can include it in your Will to be donated to a dog in need after you pass away?

Although pacemakers cannot be used for another human, they can help dogs with heart problems and potentially save their lives. *YOU* can arrange for the pacemaker to be sent to a vet of your choice. Many pacemakers are simply thrown away, and dogs may die because people do not know about this option. Donating the pacemaker can even save the dog's owner the cost of a new one, which can sometimes make a crucial difference in affording life-saving treatment.

❓️How to donate?

Update your will: Leave instructions to have your pacemaker removed and sent to a veterinary clinic of your choice

Ask your doctor to save the pacemaker: When your pacemaker is being replaced or upgraded, ask your doctor to save it for donation

Contact your local vet to confirm that they would be able to use the pacemaker.

Tip from a Pet Professional:

Enzymes should be in your cleaning supplies, especially for cleaning up pet stains (AND human stains!) An enzyme cleaner uses enzymes and microbes to break down organic stains, like urine, milk, or grass, though it can be used on ordinary household stains too.

Enzyme cleaners can be used for all sorts of stains in all sorts of places. Here's the types of stains they can be used on:

✅️Urine
✅️Feces
✅️Blood
✅️Vomit
✅️Other bodily fluids
✅️Pet stains
✅️Grass and dirt stains

Enzyme cleaners are better than all-purpose stain removers for bio-based stains as they work to remove the stubborn odors and discolorations that come alongside pet messes or vomit.

Uses for enzymes in thr home include....

✅️Carpets & Rugs
✅️Tile, Lineoleum, Concrete
✅️Mattresses & Pillows
✅️Upholstered Furniture

⭐️An enzyme cleaner needs to sit for at least a few minutes before it works, so don't immediately wash it away.⭐️

Note: some enzymes are sold ready to use and some are sold as concentrates. I prefer the concentrate because it is more cost effective and has a wider range of use due to dilution as shown in the graphic attached.

Does vinegar count as an enzymatic cleaner? No, vinegar does not count as an enzymatic cleaner. Vinegar is actually an acidic cleaner, as it uses acidity to clean, rather than enzymes.
