Rescue has broken me this past week, along with dixie and paula.

this rescuer finds herself crying off and on. please be patient while we work through what we have been dealing with this past week. It's been let's say rough. We are humans, not robots. We feel, we aren't calous. Dealing with some hard to find words for situations all week long. Bless rescuers everywhere, bless the little souls of the animals whose lives are shattered as we try and fix them emotionally and physically. And Bless those lives that didn't get the chance for loving homes.

⛔️‼️ 100% NEVER DECLAW A CAT. If you feel it's okay now due to "higher technology". News you can use is the cats paws are the same forever ago, yesterday, today and tomorrow. Think that through. When you declaw a cat, one of things I want to help educate is they can often not want to use their litter box, then one subjects them to.......you got it. Must go outside then.......which turns into a whole other topic. Please be humane and use scratchers whatnot or DONT GET ONE THEN if your couch is too precious for words. HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY ✌️

🧡🐱 WEASLEY THE STREET BOY HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

Weasley came to us march 22nd. He had an injury in his right paw. HE WAS POSTED ON TOOELE COUNTY 411.


He went straight to Dr Joe Roundy who stayed on a Saturday to help this young man.

Here's pictures of Weasley from being outside as a dumped stray cat due to he was friendly, to his bed and breakfast stay at our humble facility.

Thank YOU goes to all our volunteers who have helped Weasley along the way and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU GOES TO HIS NEW MOMMA. her son really wanted a cat and bought Weasley a cat tree with his own birthday money. They bonded from the get go.

May you love this boy beyond measure. Send updates of that silly guy.

‼️⛔️ We at BFF are doing our best to meet the great needs of Tooele county cat problems. JUST PULLED IN 20 CATS/KITTENS IN TWO DAYS.

We keep coming into a lot of emergent situations especially this past week and the week prior.

Been hopping, jumping, working 18-20 hours days on feet. Cats/ multi tasking my job.

we will get to everyone yes. If it's emergent say just that.

We again ask for your patience while we navigate kitten season mixed with owner surrenders, mixed with feral colonies mixed with dumped cats with a twist of bottle babies, mixed with working with abused cats with behavior issues, coordinating A-Z for everything cat.

AND VERY LIMITED STAFF BEYOND BELIEF.

We still want to be of help, we can only balance so much in one given day.

🌸💕 MISS MARY-KATE has been ADOPTED

🌸 she is a doll.
🌸 mary-kate lost her sister Ashley however, with her new family mary-kate will have 2 new brothers to keep her company.

I'm sure the lady who made the off handed comment is a very nice person BUT,

When you state your opinion as a fact it no longer holds as an opinion but more of an off handed negative part slandering falsehood. Which in this comment she made a statement that is a flat out LIE.

Did you know when you choose to make a comment such as this it could hinder adoptions for the cats? I personalized this FOR the cats. If she was just wanting to send out a message to a whole county how she finds me a Saint but I do my cat rescue wrong in more less words etc. I could care a less. She doesn't define me. But when someone like this takes the time to make such a claim and can in a back door way hurt the cats? I do feel I have the right where she used my name to stand up for the cats.

I have repossessed 3 times.

1. Split apart a bonded pair. They got caught.

2. Neglect and learned they were not being treat right. I will leave it there.

3. Ghosted me for THREE AND A HALF MONTHS. For their cats to get fixed.

in the YEARS I have done rescue its been all of three times maybe she should know her facts before coming across differently. Someone could read her comment and think wow if my cat looks out the window at 10am instead 10:15am she is coming for my cats. To oh no did the cats have their salmon from alaska not frozen from walmart at 3pm instead of 4pm? please stop A$$uming and the ridiculous falshoods.

happy home? That's exactly what we strive for. We desire that ourselves. However, not making sure they are fixed does NOT ensure a happy home. That is the main part of my contract. guaranteed if I allow you to never fix my cats you adopted, and they start peeing/marking you as the owner WILL NOT BE HAPPY. I guarantee if a female doesn't get fixed and she gets pyometra from not being spayed, she isn't going to be happy fighting for her life. And you as the owner might not be happy with the vet bill. And who wants more litters of kittens your answer is rescues and shelters would say please we beg you no more.

Please stop talking about things you know not of.

We adore, we love all of our foster cats as our own. We are NOT going to be bullied or not stand up for what we believe in. A happy home is more than just someone's words of "I will make sure I give this kitty a good home". I will continue to strive for common decency and respect for all of our fosters and potential adopters.

If one was to read my business messages maybe then your eyes will be more opened to facts and reality. Resuce isn't just about getting a cat a happy home. Yes it's the goal but more goes into the process. If people could do it better, I wish they would step up and do it. anyone can use words but where's the action period.

For those of you who like to slander and criticize we hope you figure out why you come across insecure and aren't about choosing kindness especially for homeless animals but we hope you too have a great day.
