Have you ever wondered how you could help us and the kitties we help WITHOUT SPENDING A SINGLE CENT? You can sign up and nominate us to receive FREE CAT LITTER!!! The past 2 years in total these awesome folks donated 9 pallets of litter to us. We also share with other nearby smaller rescues and pet owners experiencing hard times. I try to make everything a win-win for everyone. In the past we have rented a truck and picked up the litter near Bakersfield, CA. This time it will be coming from further away and there will be freight only charges. I know this has kept OTHER RESCUES FROM PARTICIPATING, BUT I URGE YOU TO SIGN UP NOW! I am sure we can ask the company to combine the loads, have everything freighted to our place and split the cost between us, therefore making it something we can do! We have plenty of space out here, 5 acres total. We did that with one rescue last time, she just picked up a van full of jugs every Friday until her 2 pallets were gone. I do not mind letting folks do that either, as I mentioned, there is plenty of room... Just message me so we can connect.

This past year we have helped our new community spay and neuter dozens of feral cats that were returned to their properties as well as socialize and find homes for their kittens. So, here is the paid invoice from last week's vet appointments. I bring this up because I was putting $600 of my own money in on the adoption center trailer. Without it, we are still $600 short. I also had to pay a locksmith $280 to come out here and make keys for our truck so we can tow it home. I'll get the invoice for that. I spent 2 weeks finding a locksmith for less than $350 though. Thank you Kandy Pinkley for the referral, your son in law was here with the keys in my hand 2 hours after I first contacted him!

Anyway, that's where we are at. Whether you donate for the trailer or the vet bill, locksmith, etc... we need another $600 to pick it up and bring it home! If you can help, please let me know. I appreciate all of you so much. Thank you.

This young man was rescued last week out of the brutal heat coming on and neutered immediately. However, he wants to fight or screw every other cat we have! He doesn't care how big or small, male, female, fixed.. he doesn't care. He's under a year old and very sweet and loving to humans, doesn't mind the big dogs even. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. He really needs an adopted and a home of his own ASAP.
