Bubba, our most handsome pup of the day, has stolen our hearts with his first visit! We're excited to see him again for his boosters and be part of watching him grow into a strong and healthy boy!
Puppies need vaccines every 3-4 weeks to develop immunity and stay protected as their maternal antibodies fade after weaning. Once they're 16 weeks old and receive their rabies vaccine and boosters, they're all set for a year! Don't let that stop you from bringing them in for happy visits - we love giving them all the treats and affection!

We had a successful day of checking in the sheep, goats, and cattle for LVCO Fair yesterday morning! 🐑🐄🐮

Dr. Servos and Dr. Walker were visually inspecting goats and sheep for any concerning skin lesions or indications of ringworm, as well as viral issues such as; pinkeye, respiratory issues, and external parasites.
The cattle were visually examined for pinkeye/respiratory issues, and teeth were checked to ensure that the cattle we under 2 years of age - per fair guidelines.
Our technician Jessica, helped with the visual inspections and restraint of the animals when needed.

As we look ahead to the rest of the fair, we're sending our best wishes to all the 4-H and FFA members, as well as the dedicated kids showing their project animals. May your hard work and dedication pay off, stay cool, confident, and focused on your goals! 💪

📣 Big News: Five Veterinarians. One Expanding Clinic.

At Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic, our mission has always been to provide compassionate, high-quality care to the animals and families in our community. Today, we’re proud to share that our team has grown to include five dedicated veterinarians on staff—each bringing their own expertise, warmth, and commitment to the care you’ve come to trust.

🩺 Leading the team are longtime PVVC veterinarians Dr. Jennifer Simon and Dr. Amy Servos, who have been at the heart of our clinic for years.

We're thrilled to announce we have added an additional veterinarian to serve the needs of small and large animals! Dr. Amanda Walker!

Dr. Walker grew up in Arkansas in the beautiful Ozarks. She went to College of the Ozarks for undergraduate studies and attended Mizzou for Veterinary School.
She loves working with both large and small animals. She also values building relationships with clients and our team.
She has been married to her husband Aaron for 3 years and they have one fur child, Poppy. In her spare time she enjoys baking, scrapbooking, hiking and is very involved in her church.

🚧 More exciting news - we’re Expanding!
We’re currently in the planning and design phase of a brand-new clinic building—which will be built right next door to our current space. This addition will allow us to serve even more animals with greater efficiency, comfort, and care.

And don’t worry—our existing building isn’t going anywhere. It will continue to operate and house new and expanded services as part of the growth.

To our amazing clients and community: thank you for the trust and support that make this possible. We’re proud to grow alongside you—and we’re just getting started.

Get ready for our second dental health month for the year!
This special saves you over $50 on your pets dental cleaning. We offer this special twice a year due to not only popular demand by our pet parents, but for the oral health for our dogs and cats as well!

Dental disease isn't just about bad breath, it can effect multiple major organ functions like the heart and kidneys! Since dogs do not brush their teeth twice a day like we do, the tartar builds up overtime and creates lots of bacteria. The bacteria is absorbed through the gum line and gets into the blood stream, the good news is that it is completely preventable with regular dental cleanings!
Every dog and cat is different with how often a dental may be needed, so if you would like to know if your pet is ready to get those canines all cleaned up, give us a call or text through our app! Spots are already filling!!

*NEW FEATURE*
Download our app prior to arriving for your pets appointment and you can elect to receive live updates during your pets procedure!!

This special is for August only. Patients must be up to date on exams and rabies vaccines. Call now or download our app to schedule a pre op appointment or to book ahead of time for your pet's dental!
