Hey everyone!

Pleasant Valley will be introducing a new software system next week. Due to this upgrade, appointments will be limited for a few days. Please bear with us during this learning curve!
This new software will help make your experience even smoother and more efficient! It will allow us to better manage appointments, records, and communication so we can focus more on your pets' care! You may notice some small changes, but the goal is to make everything easier for you!

(Our current app will be live for a couple more weeks but once our new app is up and running, the current app will no longer be supported. Please download any information/records you need currently. We will still have all records in clinic!)

How does this update benefit you?
1. Easier Scheduling & Reminders
We’ll be able to send more accurate reminders and confirmations for appointments, vaccinations, and medications.
You can receive text or email updates — whichever you prefer.
Scheduling, rescheduling, or updating appointments will be faster and simpler.

2. Streamlined Check-In & Check-Out
Your visit will be quicker because our team can access your pet records, history, and invoices instantly.
Payment processing and receipts will be faster and more organized.
The option to sign documents before you arrive, which saves valuable time! (So, you can still stop and get that coffee before going to work.)

Our team can communicate with you directly through the system.
You’ll get follow-up notes and visit summaries more efficiently.

4. More Accurate Medical Records
Everything from vaccine history to lab results is stored in one place.
This helps us ensure your pet’s care is consistent and up to date.

5. Improved Online Experience
You will be able to request medication refills online through our client portal.
Access your pet’s information anytime, from anywhere!

We spoiled our whole staff this week during Veterinary technician appreciation week.
We have an amazing group that works here who
provide so much empathy, dedication and hard work. Working in the field of veterinary medicine can be very challenging, but also very rewarding. I'm so proud of our team!

We will be closing tomorrow September 26th around 4 pm for a staff event. We are sending Dr. Payne off on her new adventure and we will miss her beyond words! Lets show her all the love and appreciation in the comments!!
We wish you the absolute best in your career and endeavors, and I can say we had the best time with you as our veterinarian and friend. We are so appreciative of the care and knowledge you have shared with the whole team, and all the clients and patients within. We Love You Dr. Payne!!! 🖤

LAST MINUTE OPENINGS BEFORE THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!
(Reminder we will be closed Saturday Aug 30th and Monday Sept 1st in observance of Labor Day.)

We have a few unexpected openings on our schedule this afternoon and tomorrow! Get your pets in now, before the holiday weekend!! Whether its a last minute vaccine update or if they aren't feeling well, we can get them taken care of before the long weekend!

Nugget and Blackberry are our ridiculously adorable kittens of the day!
Nugget has a daredevil spirit, keeping his sister Blackberry on her toes! She is a sophisticated gal who only demanded snuggles.
They bravely received their first vaccines today, and helped launch our day with an overdose of playful antics and snuggles!

Bubba, our most handsome pup of the day, has stolen our hearts with his first visit! We're excited to see him again for his boosters and be part of watching him grow into a strong and healthy boy!
Puppies need vaccines every 3-4 weeks to develop immunity and stay protected as their maternal antibodies fade after weaning. Once they're 16 weeks old and receive their rabies vaccine and boosters, they're all set for a year! Don't let that stop you from bringing them in for happy visits - we love giving them all the treats and affection!
