We’re so excited to share some wonderful news with our community! ❤️ Nickel City Pet Pantry now has its very own Little Free Pantry inside our store. For years, we’ve had people stop by or call, thinking we were a free pet food pantry because of the word “Pantry” in our name. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we can now say that we are here to help those in need.

We’ve created a special corner in the store just for donations and a small shelf stocked with free pet food (and occasionally other items) for families going through financial hardships. 🐾

Many pet food pantries in Buffalo operate only on specific days of the month, like the first Sunday. But we wanted to ensure there’s a helping hand available whenever you need it. If you find yourself in a tough spot, swing by and grab what you need to hold you over until other resources are open. We just ask that you take one bag of food per visit so we can help as many families as possible.

Please help us spread the word! Share with your friends, neighbors, and anyone who could use a little extra support to care for their furry loved ones. Together, we’re building a stronger, kinder community. ❤️🐕🐾

🐶💖 Cooper can be a bit of a handful when it comes to grooming—he’s not exactly a fan and might even throw in a few bites along the way! 😅But here’s the sweetest part—after every groom, he always makes sure to show his groomer, Mellisa , some love. Whether its for companionship, to serve and protect, mans best friend, or a furbaby, every dog has a special place in our heart serving as Earth's angels giving us unconditional love and happiness. When we make dogs apart of our family we must remember to treat them as family.We understand grooming can be expensive and life gets busy. Alford's Angels goal is to prevent grooming neglect that can cause discomfort and even harm to our little angels. "Alford's Angels Grooming Seminar for Dog Lovers" will give the platform to educate owners on the proper grooming fundamentals , increase dog owner's confidence in in-between maintenance such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming. Also expressing the importance of carefully selecting your dog's groomer to make sure our angels are having the best grooming experience possible when they do go to a professional pet stylist. Feeling and looking great is and important key in having a happy healthy life and this is very true for dogs. Regular grooming is vital for a dog overall health. So lets make sure our little angels look and feel just as good as we do.
