Meet Louie, a 6-month-old French Bulldog! Like many Frenchies, Louie was born with narrow nostrils, which can limit airflow. To help him, we performed a nose job! A stenotic nares surgery, or nasal resection, was conducted to widen his nostrils, improving airflow and reducing strain on his respiratory system. Dr. Ryndak carried out the surgery along with his neuter a few weeks ago, and Louie is doing great! Unfortunately, Louie was not a fan of us trying to take out his sutures so they will dissolve and fall out on their own. If you have questions about whether your dog might need a nasal resection, feel free to call us to schedule an appointment!
