Spanky, a 5 month old puppy was discarded by a breeder due to his congenital heart condition. Fortunately Puppy Love intervened, providing him with necessary care. His condition is treatable with lifelong low cost medication. Although his life expectancy is uncertain, his cardiologist has seen similar cases where dogs led long happy lives.
