I see it in my feed every single day: "Does anyone know a good trainer?" or "I just need help with this one thing, but I don't know where to start."

I know the feeling. You’re stressed, your dog is struggling, and you're worried about the cost of private sessions.

Stop guessing and stop the frustration. You can get professional guidance from a certified behavior specialist—without the price tag of full private coaching. 🐾

Join me this Sunday for my Weekly Live Q&A. Bring your questions, get real-time clarity, and start making progress immediately. Even if we decide you need a 1-on-1 session later, this is the most affordable way to get a professional set of eyes on your specific struggles.

Sometimes it's nice to get out and work with my own dog.

B is my 5yrd old Belgian Malinois that I use for PPD (personal protection dog). She's my right hand girl. She's traveled a lot with me so it's important for me to keep her sharp and for us to keep building our relationship.

I have not held up my end of the deal for the last 2yrs with her. Meaning keeping up with her bite work and formal advanced obedience. She's obedient to most people's standards. As far as she's good on leash for walks and can do "cool" commands. But for a dog like her that's just not enough to keep her settled and happy.

She's been SO SO patient with all the changes over the last couple years. But she was starting to act up more at home and that was my sign to get off my ass and work my dog.

We can't blame a dog for acting out, we have to figure out why it's happening and then it's up to us to fix it. They are just speaking up at the moment.

If you're having trouble figuring out what your dog is saying let me know! I love being a detective and then teaching you how to help them be the best dog they can be.

Testing Waffles for a vet visit. Historically she's been snappy and very hard to manage at the vets. My guess after working with her a bit is it's a mix of fear and wanting to be in charge.

In this video I'm testing her to see if I can find triggers and then work her through them.

Next step is the actual Vet to test all of our work.

If your dog has issues at the vet, call me! I came from the Vet world and love to combine both passions to help dogs and owners succeed and ease stress for the vet staff as well.

Kitchen triggers can turn cooking into a stressful balancing act! 🍳🚫

In this video, I’m working with a 2-year-old female corgi who has developed some intense reactivity around specific kitchen items—think baking sheets, aluminum foil, parchment paper, and trash bags.

When we talk about "reactivity," it’s easy to jump straight to the worst-case scenario, but reactivity doesn't always equal aggression. In many cases, it simply looks like hyperarousal or an over-the-top, inappropriate reaction to a harmless environmental stimulus.

Here, I'm walking you through the exact desensitization process we are using to help her build calm, neutral associations with these everyday kitchen tools so meal prep can go back to being peaceful.

Watch the full breakdown above, and let me know in the comments if your dog has any quirky kitchen triggers of their own! ⬇️
