For those that may have missed our stories. Bella is my grandpup that I am babysitting for 2 weeks this Sunday. She is from Diamond's 3rd litter and Angel's full sister.

With Nala's boys turning 2yrs in May, I figured it was time to share the news.

Nala will not be bred again and is retired. She will be spayed. I'm sad that I have to end her lines, but it's not far to her, myself, the puppies I bring into this world, nor our breed as a whole. I'm being responsible on my end and not continuing her lines with health issues going on. Health issues meaning cleft palate.

Hunter & Diamond had 1 cleft in their 2021 litter (Caspian), and then Nala had 1 cleft in her 1st and only litter (Stuart). Diamond's 3rd litter with Gohan had no issues. Angel had her 1st litter, and again, no issues.

So after those things that popped up in Nala's litter, I knew she couldn't be bred again and will be spayed. All of Nala boys are in pet homes and fixed/will be fixed.

Nala will NOT be rehomed. She is staying here and continue enjoying her family, bikejoring, canicross, walks, adventurous and mushing in the winter.

The puppies had their 12 week shots: DHPP & Lyme today. I also picked up another dose of Heartgard Plus for each of them. All the boys have both testicles down. Eyes, teeth, ears, legs, heart, lungs, joints, all feel and look good. Besides, some dirt in their ears, a little from play and digging outside. They are happy and healthy puppies. They are between 16-20lbs.
