🚨 TODAY is calling for a weather alert of our first 100° day in Phoenix!!

As we head into our summer months, and with so many families relocating to our beautiful Valley of the Sun, we want to take this moment to remind everyone of the symptoms of HEAT STROKE in our 4-legged family members.

👉DON'T leave your dogs or kids in a parked car! Temperatures rise quickly, even with a window cracked.
👉DON'T take your dogs on hikes! All trailheads are closed to canines once our temps hit 100°
👉DON'T walk your dogs on hot asphalt or pavement without feeling the ground first! If it's too hot for your hand, its too hot for their paws!

With heavy hearts we have decided to put Bunsen (green collar) and Beaker (orange collar) up for adoption. Beaker was brought in by a good samaritan with severe pneumonia at about 6 weeks old. Bunsen was along for the ride. Beaker recovered well and they have been the dynamic duo around the hospital since.

They are now 5 months old, treated for intestinal parasites, fully vaccinated and neutered. All they want is to snuggle with someone and purr all day – and they just don’t get enough of that here. We would like them to go as a pair as they have been so close all their lives.

They do well with other animals and older children as they have been exposed to most situations.
