The boys get free haircuts... but what about the girls? 🎀✂️

We’re excited to partner with local beauty supply stores so our girls can head back to school feeling confident and prepared! 💕

As part of our Back-to-School Girls Hair Accessory Drive, you can support in two ways:

1️⃣ In-Store Donations – Purchase and donate items directly at the participating beauty supply stores listed below. Each location has a donation box at checkout — simply buy a few extra items and drop them in!

2️⃣ Direct Donations to TUC Garden – If you’d like to donate accessories, gift cards, or monetary contributions directly, please contact us at [email protected] or 419-407-6192.

✨ Suggested Items:
• Hair ties, scrunchies, headbands
• Hair beads, barrettes, clips, bows
• Small rubber bands, elastic ball accessories
• Edge control, styling gels, brushes, combs

Back-to-school is almost here for Toledo Public Schools!

Join us Saturday, August 23 from 5–7 PM at TUC Garden (4747 Hill Ave) for a last-minute back-to-school celebration with:

✅ Free school supplies (while they last)
✅ Free haircuts (limited slots)
✅ Games & family fun
🔥 Bonfire & s’mores

We’re also welcoming community partners to help make this event even better.
💡 If you haven’t had a chance to support back-to-school yet, here’s your moment! We’re looking for:

• Barbers/stylists to donate time for kids’ haircuts
• School supplies, snacks, or s’mores ingredients
• Gift cards or contributions to help purchase supplies

📢 Important Update: Open Mic Night Cancelled

We’re sorry to share that the Open Mic Night scheduled for tonight at The University Church/TUC Garden has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We were looking forward to this special evening of creativity and community, and we know many of you were too.

We appreciate your understanding and hope to reschedule a future event that brings us all together to celebrate local talent.
