Mr. Mica needs a home and he needs it soon!

This sweet boy is struggling in our free-roaming cat rooms. With so many kittens and cats currently waiting for homes, the environment has become overwhelming for him.
Instead of relaxing and enjoying himself, he spends much of his day crying and searching for attention. He wants what every cat deserves, a quiet place to call home, a comfy spot to nap, and a family of his own to love him. He isn't asking for much, just someone to choose him.

Please help us find this deserving boy the loving home he's been dreaming of. Share his story, tell your friends, and if you've been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, come meet Mr. Mica. He has so much love to give and he just needs someone willing to give him a chance. ❤️

These cats aren't running around a cozy living room, curled up on a couch, or showing off their true personalities. They're sitting in enclosures in our lobby, day after day, watching people walk by. Unfortunately, many of them get passed over without a second glance.

People see kittens or they see cats that can go home with other cats. Meanwhile, these cats wait. And wait. And wait.

The truth is, being a non-cat-friendly cat doesn't make them bad cats. It doesn't make them less deserving of love. It simply means they want a home where they can be the center of someone's world. Many of them absolutely adore people and crave attention, affection, and companionship.

We can see the shelter taking a toll on them. Some are becoming anxious. Some are becoming withdrawn. Some sit at the front of their enclosure hoping every person who walks by might be their person. Others have simply stopped trying because they've been overlooked so many times.

They don't understand why they're still here.
They don't understand why everyone else gets chosen while they continue to watch families walk past their enclosure every single day.

Please take a moment to read their bios under their photos. Look beyond the enclosure. Look beyond the fact that they need to be the only cat. See the loving companion waiting underneath.

And if you can't adopt, please share. Their future family may be on your friends list.

These cats deserve more than being overlooked. They deserve a home, a family, and someone who finally chooses them.

We also want to mention that while these cats are currently listed as not cat-friendly, that doesn't always mean it will be that way forever. Every cat is different, and circumstances can change. With the right cat, proper introductions, time, patience, and a stable home environment, some cats do learn to coexist with other felines. We can't guarantee it, and they should be adopted with the expectation of being the only cat, but we never want to say it's completely off the table. Who knows what the future may hold for the right cat in the right home.

Meet Monty!

This handsome boy is looking for his forever home! Monty is incredibly sweet, loves attention, and is as social as they come. He enjoys being around people and is always ready for love and affection.

Winky's babies are now 5 weeks old and officially have two settings: zoomies and nursing.

This photo is of Peek mid zoom stopping to nurse when she saw mom laid down.

These little ones run all over, wrestle, play, and cause tiny kitten chaos all day long. But the second Mom sits down? It's a race to see who can nurse first. Luckily, Winky is a very patient mama. ❤️
