Good afternoon, pet parents! It's the time of year when those annoying pinweed seeds are starting to show up stuck in dog's fur. For those of you not aware of these pesky little buggers, they are self-drilling seeds. They seek moisture and are able to bury themselves in the dirt. However, dirt is not the only thing they will bury themselves in. If they get stuck in your dog's fur, they are capable of burying themselves into your dogs skin causing irritation and possible infection if not removed in a timely manner. They're around 3" long and tend to look like a piece of dead grass. Make sure to check your fur babies for them after being outside. Stay safe everyone!!

Good morning all! To any clients I'm booked with over the next few days, I will be there as close to our scheduled times as possible. I will be at the mercy of Mother Nature and may have to make adjustments depending on what happens. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Is your dog having issues walking on your hardwood floors? Check out these non-slip boots from AllDogBoots! They're made of breathable mesh so they can stay on for extended periods. They are also reflective. I can't tell you how much of a difference they make. One of the dogs I watch got his in yesterday, and he went from pretty much having to be carried to and from the door to confidently walking on his own with no assistance. Not only have they helped him walk and stand better, he is already noticeably happier being able to move around freely on his own.

Huge thank you to Dr. Morris at Happistance Vet for turning us on to these little miracles.
