We live in Northeast Georgia on a cattle farm. Our farm includes 800 acres of land with rolling hills, bottom flat land, and wooded forest. My husband grew up here on the farm with working cattle dogs. He never knew what type of dog his favorite dog, Rover, was until a few years ago. We started looking for a dog to get for him to help with the cattle. We found the English Shepherd organization to
look at puppies. My husband found a puppy in Kansas. He knew this was a dog like he had growing up. We called and purchased the male puppy over the phone for his birthdayin 2009. We have been very happy with our Toby. We also bought a female puppy from Iowa in 2010. We fell in love with this breed of dogs. Our goal is to get more of these dogs in Georgia so that these intelligent dogs can be used on the farms here.
